"I will most gladly spend and be expended for your souls. If I love you more, am I to be loved less?" --2 Corinthians 12:15
I especially love this verse. It means so, so much to me. I mean, think about it...if a cup of water is poured out into another, then it becomes empty. But what if it is also constantly being poured into? That's the idea he's getting to. He's saying it's ridiculous to think that he could lose God's love, ever, especially just because he loved others MORE. God is continuing to LAVISH His love upon us, and so we have a constant supply that we may pour ourselves out! If we are full to the point of overflowing...WHY NOT pour as much out as possible upon those who need love most? like, try the entire world?? We could all use it.

We could all learn a little bit more about what it means to "most gladly spend and be expended for your souls."

--10 Things I Hate About You

here we go.

Allow this to be my introduction to why i made this blog at all. i found a need to store all of my favorite quotes somewhere. a journal was simply not large enough, and my hand began to cramp...microsoft word did not seem adequate to hold the volumes either. simply applying a short list of favorites to a facebook account doesn't even begin to cover it. so here, as i find and remember them, i will place what i consider to be the great quotes. maybe someday i'll make it into a book, who knows? but for now the storage space lies here. as for my readership, i doubt there will be any. this is simply the biggest and cheapest comp book i could find. :) thank you, internet.
